Importance of Foam Rolling

Who has tried Foam Rolling before?

Foam roller exercises, also called myofascial release, is a form of massage that is done after exercise to loosen up sore muscles and tight joints in an effort to aid muscle recovery.

According to Dr. Josh Axe, a clinical nutritionist and doctor of Chiropractic, foam roller exercises and other self-myofascial release techniques have become increasingly popular because of a better understanding about the healing benefits of soft tissue care, or massage

Foam Rolling is my most fave thing to do!!  I actually foam roll every single day.  I also do regular stretching, too, but a foam roller will really get into your muscles like nothing else will, except an actual massage therapist.  This is like getting your own massage every day.

Foam Rollers are very inexpensive and you can get them for a great price at Amazon (see my link in the YouTube videos) or even Walmart and Target.

It is vitally important to stretch out your body daily but also, long focused stretches at least one day/week.  I like to spend my Sundays stretching with my roller for a good hour.  Whether you workout daily or sit at your desk all week, our muscles need to be stretched out, expanded and get the knots and kinks out of them.  Otherwise, injuries occur.
